Tuesday Talk Host Features: Michelle

This month I'm thrilled to feature the sweet lady behind the scenes at Grammie Time.
Enjoy learning more about Michelle!

Describe yourself in 3 words:

Self-motivated, dependable, energetic

What are five of your favorite things?

Reading, cooking, brisk walking, chocolate, wine

What is a motto you live by?

There is always something to be thankful for - in the good and not-so-good moments of life.

What makes you feel beautiful inside and out?

Feeling beautiful on the outside: A good haircut, a good workout and a comfortable outfit. On the inside: feeling confident.

What would your one piece of blogging advice be for our readers?

Since I still consider myself "new" to blogging, I still need advice from others. If I had to give advice it would be, do your own thing and try not to compare your blog with others to the point where you are trying to out-do one another.  Be authentic!!

What's your favorite vacation spot?

HOME! Staycations. I know, boring. But, truly it is. I enjoy having no schedules, timeframes, commitments. If I do go away, I prefer the ocean/beach. Walks in the early morning along the shore. Sitting by a pool with a good book. Playing with my grandkids in the water. Ending the day with a good meal and a sun-kissed face!
What are your TWO favorite summertime drinks?
Iced Passionfruit Tea and Sangria!

What about you, dear readers?
Comment below!

Tuesday Talk - Just Droppin' By

Waltzing In Beauty

Welcome to Tuesday Talk!

We're enjoying our break from "the real world" and focused on the behind the scenes aspects of daily life.
Most days we're curled up in newborn snuggles, feedings, and naps.
Sleep when the baby sleeps has proven to be a mantra to live by!

More content rich posts will be returning to this space come May...
I cannot wait to share more about the new series soon!

In the meantime, check out the most viewd post from last week and follow along on Instagram.

Have a great week!

Welcome to With Grit & Grace  – a monthly goal link-up focused on supporting each other as we work towards our goals! Please consider joining us as we grow our goal-setting community!

March Goals Recap:

- Build crib
- Install car seat
- Pack hospital bags
- Write and send baby shower thank you notes
- Birthday celebration for B
- Date night
- Say Serenity Prayer each day
The reminder on my phone helped out a good deal for this one.
I was right on track until our little one arrived and the days turned into one big blur.
- Read a book
I read more this past month than before, but I haven't quite gotten to the end.
- Have a baby!

Through this process I am learning how to narrow in on the priorities, as well as the importance of being specific in those priorities. The added benefit of specificity?
You have more things on your list, but you get to check things off more often which is much more encouraging than staring at the same incomplete goal all month long!
This month we are keeping things super simple goals wise.
In fact, I was tempted to say April would be a goal free month.
The mood boosting qualities of checking something off a list, however, prevailed and I just changed the type of goals.

April Goals:

-  Welcome family and friends to meet Baby
- Read to Baby
- Pick out a birth announcement
- Baby's Baptism
- Say Serenity Prayer each day
- Soak up the smells, sounds, and feelings of our first weeks as a family
- Take a million pictures ;)

In keeping with my resolution to live 2016 in serenity,
my focus is to share my top priorities on my to do list
and to tackle this list with grit and a whole lot of grace.
Please join us
Hugs,
Christina
